Bloggers and followers

Discovering several new followers for my blog I was delighted, until I realised they must all be the same person. This was confirmed when one of my writer groups on Facebook posted about having exactly the same problem. I couldn’t understand the reasoning behind it, unless it was the expectation of a ‘like for a like’ for those who play the numbers game.

However, it lead me to finding out who are my genuine followers, and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being here.

Traditionally, I’ve posted short stories, but over the next few months I will be guesting on other bloggers’ sites. This is fantastic exposure for the three (yes, 3) books I hope to publish this year, so enormous thanks to bloggers everywhere.

Although I tend to be a very private person, I’m gradually getting used to talking more about me and my writing career. If you want to learn a few of my secrets check out the link below for the full interview, including details of my current books. 😉 Thanks to Sharon Booth for hosting.

A question for you:

Do you prefer to

  • Read a short story
  • See posts similar to this one
  • A mixture
  • Other suggestions

If you would like to be one of the first to receive advance news on the forthcoming books, there should be a tab for a sign-up form at the top of the page.  (You might need to click the ≡ to see it.) The occasional nag to keep me on track would be welcome. 😀

Looking forward to hearing your reactions, and see you next week with a new short story.
