Spirit of Technology background

The original idea of this page was to provide information and background relating to my published books, and there is quite an interesting story behind this one.

During an amicable conversation with my first publisher, I confirmed I hadn’t received an email which she was sure her assistant had sent me, and her comment ‘It must have got lost in the ether’ was the inspiration for my book Spirit of Technology.’

Genre: Contemporary fantasy/Paranormal ghost romance

Blurb: A message from a stranger.
A modern day woman responds to an e-mail from an unknown contact. Against her better judgement she continues the correspondence with a man who tells her he was born in the 19th century.
Despite feeling an initial attraction, her concerns grow when he reveals secret details of her personal life. Undecided whether it’s a friend winding her up, and worried it could be a stalker, the truth is the last thing she expects.

Reviewer’s comment:
I loved how it was written. As a reader you get the real sense of when people receive a mysterious email that takes them on a journey that at times make you think, come on listen to your gut and run away from these emails.

Perhaps you should take her advice, but then there would be no story to tell. 😃 Since the book was originally published, technology has moved on but the idea of the ‘What if?’ is as true today as it was the day the book was released.

A short, light read but one of my favourites, and yes, there is a quirky twist but you’ll have to buy the book to find out what it is. Available on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback format, and published under my original pen name.

Thanks for joining me.
