Alderslay birthday and Beckenham Book Fair

Facebook has just reminded me my last book ‘Alderslay’ has a first birthday due. Where does the time go? Actually it’s older than that as I wrote the original draft some five years ago. At that time it was under a different name, but once it had been edited, I made some amendments and then left it while I did other things.

It does have my trademark twist at the end which makes it difficult to categorise, but don’t be mislead into thinking it’s pure Happy Ever After romance. It’s still worthy of cake though!

You can buy it here:

The follow up to ‘Country Boy’ should have been done and dusted by now, but as you probably realise, arranging the Beckenham Book event meant it fell by the wayside. By the time you read this blog, the fair will be all over. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing but it’s certainly been an experience. It’s also made me realise I know a lot more about books and things connected with publishing than I imagined.

If you wanted to know a little more about the authors attending, you can find a brief summary on the Quirky Unicorn blog site here:

When I started out, I only intended to write one book. Now I’m up to seven of my own, plus anthologies so don’t be surprised if I decide to make the book fair a regular event. Is it too early to be thinking about Santa? 😀

See you next week, and as always, thanks for dropping by.
